2024-09-26 Shirley's customer Dharma Indonesia used A33.1502 to observe plastic parts, but the measurement was not ideal. They switched to A36.3601

In June 2024, our customer from Indonesia ordered A33.1502 from OptoEdu, used to measure the plastic part of medical injection set. As shown in customer's picture, they hope to measure the outer diameter and inner diameter of the convex ring on the surface, then calculate the thickness of the wall.
Question As the transmit light source A33.1502 biological microscope cannot come through the plastic part well, customer can only view the convex ring as black part in the view field. It is not prcise and good enough.
Customer sent the medical injection sample to Opto-Edu in Aug, we tried several different microscopes, and finally suggested customer to use A36.3601 LCD Stereo Microscope for this work.
We put stage micrometer under A36.3601 first to check the calibration presetted in the software, confirm all the measured sizes are correct under different magnifications.
Then we put the plastic part under A36.3601, adjust light source & focus knob to get sharp clear image of the surface. We can see clearly the convex ring on the screen now. Connect USB mouse, we can click and measure the inner & outer diameter of ring easily, and finally check the thickness of ring.
