Norsk språkThese fast times are times we sometimes need to slow down, and see history and the pulse of technology. All OPTO-EDU members showed up at the National Library of China for a special cultural team building. We entered “Past and Future · Xiaoxitian Cultural Relics and Suspended Sculpture Art Exhibition” in the spirit of “craftsmanship” or “innovation” with artifacts and light.
1. Immersion: A Thousand Years in One Glance
Stepping into the exhibition hall felt like instantly traveling back to an era of intricate detailing. The Suspended Sculpture (Xuan Su) art of Xiaoxitian stunned every colleague with its visual impact of "layer upon layer, resplendent with gold and brilliance." These artifacts, tempered by the passage of time, are not only treasures of art but also testaments to the extreme "craftsmanship spirit" of the ancients. Colleagues paused before the exhibits, discussing the ingenuity hidden in the details. This reminded us of our daily work: only through a relentless pursuit of detail and adherence to quality can we stand the test of time.
2. Experience: VR Empowerment, Virtual & Real Coexistence
If the artifacts represent the "Past", then the VR experience represents the "Future". In the VR experience area colleagues wore headsets and were “in the box” in Xiaoxitian.The 360-degree view brought the static artifacts to life. Technology allowed traditional culture to break the boundaries of time and space. This fusion of "Culture + Technology" also sparked great inspiration for everyone: In the wave of digital transformation, how do we leverage new technologies to empower our business? How do we seek breakthroughs while honoring tradition? These were the questions the exhibition left us with.
3. Unity: Moving Forward Together, Creating the Future
The meaning of team building lies not only in relaxation but also in building consensus. From the collaboration of ancient craftsmen to the novelty of modern technology each OPTO-EDU member made a conscious decision: The past is the ground truth, the future is the direction and “We” are the bridge between them. At the end of the event everyone took a group photo together in the National Library and we were not only glad but also motivated to go on forward.
The past is prologue, the future is promising. Armed with the craftsmanship drawn from the artifacts and the inspiration gained from technology, we will transform this cultural power into motivation for our work. Next stop, OPTO-EDU continues to go all out to create brilliance together!
