The michelson interferometer is mainly applied in experiments to observe the interference phenomena if light (such as fringers of equal thickness, fringes of equal inclination, white lgith fringes) in university, or to measure the wave length of monochromatic light, determine the coherent length of light source and filter. It can also be used to observe the multiple beam interference witht the aid of the Fabey-Perot Interference system, fringe follower and standard millimeter dial gauge (in model B).
