Phase Contrast Microscope is a compound microscope that utilizes a special phase contrast objective lens and a phase contrast slider or phase contrast condenser to bring out contrast in a sample without having to stain the sample. By attaching phase contrast attachment, we can upgrade a compond laboratory level biological microscope to phase contrast microscopes, which can be used to look at bacteria or blood cells, or any transparent specimen.
